We believe it’s important to look out for the next generation of accountants. That’s why we take part in Careers Fairs held at local schools around Hertfordshire and offer advice to students who are considering accountancy as a career. We believe accountancy offers a clear career path towards a successful and rewarding career.
Work Experience
At HB Accountants we offer a variety of work experience to those who are interested in pursuing a career in accountancy. We have filled our Work Experience placements for 2022 however – watch this space for when we have availability and then contact us if you match the following criteria:
Are completing GCSEs, T Levels or A Levels
Have an interest in numbers and business
Enjoy solving problems
Enjoy working as part of a team
The HB Apprenticeship Programme
The Apprenticeship Programme we run at HB is beneficial to both the apprentice and the company. The programme earned us recognition from Hertford Regional College as finalists in the Apprentice Employer Award 2019, Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce Apprenticeship Champion 2022 and 2023 highly commended and Top 50 SME Apprentice Employer as recognised by the Department of Education
As a training firm we support each individual whilst they gain a valuable qualification for themselves. Apprentices have the opportunity to study for the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification over 4 years, combined with on-the-job training and professional skills development.
