This evening, Friday 29 May 2020, the Chancellor confirmed that a second and final grant is being made available through SEISS. It will cover June to August and applications will open in August.
Extension to the Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS) – 29 May 2020
In this second grant 70% of average trading profits up to a maximum of £6,570 will be awarded. Applications for the second grant will be made in August.
The grant is subject to income tax and self-employment national insurance contributions.
