The HB team is so proud to once again be a named finalist in the Apprentice Champion category at the Inspiring Herts awards.
The Chamber Inspiring Herts Awards 2023
The awards, run by the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce, celebrate local businesses across a range of categories. The Apprenticeship Champion recognises businesses who encourage a range of future education options, are enthusiastic and passionate about the development of future generations, and who provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
HB is passionate about offering opportunities to local people through our bespoke Apprenticeship scheme that builds the skills and aptitude needed for a career in accountancy or in business administration. Over 35% of the current HB team are apprentices – Callum, Max, Taylor, Abby, Carter and Matt. They are wonderful proactive people and we love watching them grow as individuals and team members.
We’ve been offering apprenticeships for over 11 years and have forged strong working relationships with a number of training providers, including Herts Regional College in Broxbourne. Whilst we put a lot of time and money into providing useful and fun training, we like to think that this nomination also recognises the hard work of our apprentices and their passion for telling others about their experiences and encouraging more young people to consider an apprenticeship. Local people of any age and background are welcome to apply to our scheme, we just ask that they are keen to learn new skills and forge a career path. We also offer work experience for those considering accountancy.
The winner of the Apprentice Champion 2023 will be announced in June and HB will be present, cheering on our fellow nominees and all the finalists in multiple categories.
If you are interested in an apprenticeship in accountancy – or feel that your business could offer similar opportunities – then feel free to call us on 01992 444466. We love sharing our story.
