You all know that fundraising is part of HB’s DNA. This month, we are supporting our wonderful Vicki with fundraising for the The Addie Brady Foundation. Michelle Brady is a friend of Vicki’s. Sadly, she lost her daughter, Addie, to a brain tumour a few years ago. Addie would now be 21 years old, so Michelle, Vicki, and a group of friends, are organising 21 events to mark her birthday and raise £21,000.
Earlier this month, HB ran a quiz night, packed full of challenging questions and lots of laughter. Huge thanks to everyone who came along to support – together, we raised over £1,000!
Now Vicki is to embark on another challenge – walking 100km of the Camino de Santiago. Also known as The Camino Trail or the ‘route of the stars’ because it lies beneath the Milky Way. The Trail takes pilgrims along the beautiful and peaceful countryside across the north of Spain, ending at the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. Vicki sets off later this week and we’ll keep you updated with her progress.

The Addie Brady Foundation supports much needed research into high grade paediatric brain tumours with the hope of finding a cure and at the very least, better treatment for childhood brain cancer. In addition, it supports further study, awareness, and support for families with Li-Fraumeni Syndrome (LFS), an inherited familial predisposition to a range of rare cancers. You can learn more here.
“Overwhelmed at the support from HB, our clients and our business associates, friends and family, thank you so so much”
