Having celebrated our 100th birthday a few years ago, today marks another anniversary for HB Accountants. 41 years in the wonderful Hertfordshire town of Hoddesdon. HB started out in 1921 in the City. Fast forward to 1982 and with rising rent and rates, it was more economically viable to migrate to the suberbs of Hertfordshire, plus lots of the team lived north of the Thames -Amwell House became home 41 years ago on 21 December 1982.
HB Accountants had to move from Amwell House, just over 3 years and a few months ago. We watched Amwell House being taken down, brick by brick, to make space for the future potential development of flats.
HB Accountants remain in the wonderful town that is Hoddesdon… now we enjoy gorgeous Hertfordshire views over the canal and wetlands of Rye House, Rye Mead Nature Reserve, and we hope to call Hoddesdon our home for many years to come, but we miss our opposite neighbours and friends at Morrisons Hoddesdon.

41 Years in Hoddesdon – We are locals
After 41 fabulous years we qualify as locals. We appreciate the Hoddesdon community and our director Karen sits on the Board of the Love Hoddeson BID, chairs the training and develoment subcommittee, and also we support Broxbourne Council, attending Careers Fairs and even Christmas Fairs (did you spot our HB Elves this year?). We love Hoddesdon and being a part of the local business community.
