We are thrilled to announce that HB Accountants has been awarded the 23rd position in the prestigious list of Top 50 SME Apprenticeship Employers for 2023. This recognition was celebrated at a special event at the House of Commons on September 12th, 2023, attended by our marketing manager, Vicki, who collected the award on behalf of HB Accountants
HB Accountants apprenticeships recognised by The Department of Education
Our journey to excellence has been marked by dedication and a deep commitment to nurturing talent and investing in the future. We firmly believe in the value of apprenticeships, not only for our organisation but for the broader community. Apprenticeships provide young individuals with valuable skills and experience while contributing to our workforce.
The Department of Education’s recognition is a significant milestone, and the House of Commons reception brought together like-minded businesses and MP Robert Halfon’s insightful presentation emphasized the importance of apprenticeships in bridging the skills gap and driving economic growth.
At HB Accountants, our commitment to apprenticeships goes beyond awards. We see apprenticeships as a vital component of our workforce development strategy, offering practical training and mentorship to prepare apprentices for their future careers.
I want to congratulate and thank all the businesses that made the 2023 rankings.
Apprenticeships are a fantastic way for people of all ages and background to earn while they learn, whilst ensuring employers develop the pipeline of skilled professionals they need to grow and thrive.
These rankings highlight the huge range of apprenticeship opportunities right across the country, from renewable energy projects, to video game design, and marine navigation.
As a degree apprentice myself, I am passionate about ensuring more people can access the same opportunity I did – and I’m delighted that our 2023 rankings help us showcase the best of the best in apprenticeships.”
Gillian Keegan, Secretary of State for Education
