We’re thrilled to announce that HB Accountants has been awarded 26th place in the prestigious Top 50 SME Apprenticeship Employers 2024. This recognition is a testament to our unwavering commitment to fostering talent and providing valuable apprenticeship opportunities.
Over the past three years, more than 1,500 apprenticeship employers from diverse industries and business sectors have entered these rankings. HB Accountants’ director Karen Chase says
Recognition among such a distinguished group is an honor and highlights our entire team’s dedication and hard work.
Being placed in both the 2023 and now the 2024 Top 50 SME Apprenticeship Employers nationally, reflects our consistent efforts and I am very proud of all the team and of course, all of our fabulous apprentices!
HB Accountants is serious about Apprenticeships
At HB Accountants, apprentices comprise 40% of our workforce, underscoring our commitment to the transformative power of apprenticeships. Apprenticeships are a vital tool for career development and industry growth. Our program nurtures the next generation of skilled professionals, equipping them with the essential knowledge and experience for success.
Championing a Supportive Work Environment
Creating a supportive work environment is so important to us. Directors Karen Chase and Manager Vicki Foster are both mums to teens who have chosen apprenticeships for their paths (not at HB Accountants), and Director Catherine Hill is a mum too, albeit her children are still in single figures! Catherine says
We all echo HB Accountants’ belief that a key element of our apprenticeship program’s success lies in the supportive work environment we have cultivated. We understand that fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment is crucial for our team’s overall well-being and professional growth. We prioritise open communication, encourage internal and extenal collaboration, (our apprentices recently took part in a charity football tournement for example), and we ensure that our apprentices are treated as valued members of the team from day one.
Supporting our Local Community – T Levels Students Work Experience
Our dedication to training and development is further validated by our participation in supporting Broxbourne School’s T Level cohort with their T Level students’ required work experience, for the past 2 years. This initiative underscores our commitment to providing meaningful and practical learning opportunities that prepare students for the professional world.
Celebrating Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers and Top 50 SME Apprenticeship Employers awards 2024
The Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers and Top 50 SME Apprenticeship Employers awards showcase the organisations that have made the most impact in providing apprenticeship opportunities over the past 12 months. At HB Accountants, we take pride in our role as a leader in apprenticeship development, consistently striving to create an environment where apprentices can thrive.
This achievement would not have been possible without the support and dedication of our apprentices, mentors, and all that make up Team HB. We are incredibly proud of our team and their commitment to excellence.
As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to continuing our journey of empowering apprentices and contributing to the broader apprenticeship community. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our success.
Here’s to many more years of growth, learning, and achievement!
