Vicki is Walking the Camino Trail – Fundraising for the Addie Brady Foundation

You all know that fundraising is part of HB’s DNA. This month, we are supporting our wonderful Vicki with fundraising for the The Addie Brady Foundation. Michelle Brady is a friend of Vicki’s. Sadly, she lost her daughter, Addie, to a brain tumour a few years ago. Addie would now be 21 years old, so Michelle, Vicki, and a group of friends, are organising 21 events to mark her birthday and raise £21,000.

Deadline to top up national insurance contributions just extended

The government have just extended the deadline for payment for buying back contribution years for state pension from 5 April to 31 July 2023 – taxpayers have extra time to make voluntary national insurance (NI) contributions going back to April 2006. The government has announced that contributions made in this window will be at the 2022/23 voluntary NI rates.
